30 days of self-love: when things fall apart

How hard it is to fall apart, to break, to allow emotions to run through like water.

Scary to let go.

Moving through life as a runner.

In hindsight, a wonder: disconnected.

Discarding life over and over.

Kintsugi is “golden joinery.”

What is broken can be repaired, the beautiful history undisguised.

Accepted. Honored. True.

Surrender to impermanence, and gather the pieces.

Hold them all lovingly, sweet anger and sorrow and joy to the breast.

Paint the lacquer of love across the cracks, grace dusted in with the gold.

Humbled by our fallibility.

The whole together again, for now.

And release.
