Syria Street in the heart of Lebanon’s second largest city Tripoli, the street sits at the base of Jabal Mohsen where Alawite loyal to Syria’s President Bashar Assad supported by Hezbollah battle with the Sunni supporters of the Syrian opposition at the base of the hill in Bab Tabbaneh. The battles here have been going on for over 20 years.
